先日、ルルルに宿泊していた台湾のゲストさんから素敵な手紙が届きました！

送ってくれたのは、台湾出身の王さん。 LuLuLuでのお遍路体験が心に残り、旅先の台湾から心温まるメッセージを届けてくれました。

手紙の内容を少し紹介します。

王さんからのメッセージ

龍馬の写真付きのクッキー、ありがとうございました！ LuLuLuでの時間とお遍路の旅を心から楽しみました。一期一会の精神を感じながら、多くの人や世界に対して心が開かれる経験となりました。どうもありがとうございました！

ジョーさん & LuLuLuのスタッフへ

お久しぶりです！今、台湾を旅していて、花蓮県が四国にとても似ていると言われていることを知りました。特に海岸線が、高知にいた昨年のことを思い出させます。さらに、「慶修院」という場所があり、そこでは日本人が遍路を完成させ、仏像を安置し、納経を収めて人々を慰め、守るために祀られています。もし台湾に来ることがあれば、ぜひ花蓮に訪れてみてください！

LuLuLuでの滞在が、王さんにとって特別な思い出になったこと、とても嬉しいです。また、台湾にもお遍路に関連した場所があるとは驚きですね！

こうしたゲストさんとのつながりが生まれるのは、ゲストハウスの醍醐味です。王さん、素敵な手紙をありがとうございました！

Hello, this is Jo, a staff member at LuLuLu, the first share house & guesthouse in Kochi!

Recently, we received a heartwarming letter from a guest who stayed at LuLuLu.

The letter was from Wang, a guest from Taiwan. He shared how his experience at LuLuLu and on the Henro pilgrimage deeply touched his heart.

Here are some excerpts from his message:

Thank you for the cookies with the photo of Ryoma! I deeply enjoyed my time at LuLuLu and my Henro trip. With the spirit of "Ichigo Ichie," my mind was widely opened towards people and the world. Thank you very much!

To Jo & LuLuLu Staff

Long time no see! I’m currently traveling in Taiwan and learned that Hualien County is said to be very similar to Shikoku. Especially the coastline reminds me of my time in Kochi last year. There is also a place called "Jingxiu Temple" where a Japanese pilgrim completed the Henro pilgrimage, placed Buddha sculptures, and offered prayers to bring comfort and protection to people. If you ever come to Taiwan, please visit Hualien!

It’s so wonderful to hear that Wang’s stay at LuLuLu left a lasting impression on him. And it’s fascinating to learn that Taiwan has a place connected to the Henro pilgrimage!

Connecting with guests like this is one of the greatest joys of running a guesthouse. Thank you, Wang, for your beautiful letter!
