🌾【高知の絶景】吉延の棚田＆杉の大杉を巡る旅🌲

🌾 急遽思い立ち、高知の棚田へ！ 🌾

先日、突然の思いつきで高知の棚田を見に行ってきました。

棚田といえば、フィリピンのバナウェイの棚田を訪れた以来の2回目。

美しい景色を期待して現地へ向かいましたが、途中でふと気づいたことが…。

💡「あれ？田植えの時期じゃないと棚田ってそんなに綺麗じゃないのでは？」

奇跡を信じて現地に到着してみると…案の定、茶色い棚田（笑）。しかし！

吉延の棚田は「天空の郷」と呼ばれる美味しいお米の産地として有名なんです。次回は稲が青々と茂る時期にリベンジしたいと思います！

⛩️ 帰りに「杉の大杉」へ ⛩️

棚田の後は、日本一の杉として知られる杉の大杉へ。

ここは、かの美空ひばりが「日本一の歌手になりたい」と願ったと言われる神聖な場所。

大きな杉の木の前で、私たちも願いを込めて参拝してきました。

なんとこの日、3月10日はLuLuLuの店長・ゆりの誕生日！

偶然立ち寄ったお店で、3月10日の誕生花を発見。記念にパシャリ！

🌾【Explore Kochi’s Stunning Yoshinobe Terraces & Giant Cedar Tree】🌲

Hello! I'm Joe, a staff member at LuLuLu, Kochi's first share house & guest house.

🌾 A Spontaneous Trip to the Rice Terraces! 🌾

The other day, I suddenly decided to visit Kochi's terraced rice fields. This was my second time visiting terraced fields since my trip to Banaue in the Philippines.

💡 "Wait... aren't rice terraces only beautiful when the rice is actually growing?"

Hoping for a miracle, we arrived at Yoshinobe’s terraces… and yes, they were brown, just as expected (haha). However!

These terraces are home to Tenku no Sato, a famous rice-growing area. I definitely want to revisit when the fields are lush green!

⛩️ A Visit to Sugino Osugi ⛩️

On our way back, we stopped by the majestic Sugino Osugi, known as Japan’s largest cedar tree. It’s said that the legendary singer Hibari Misora once made a wish here to become the greatest singer in Japan.

Inspired by her story, we also made our own wishes under the sacred tree.

🌸 March 10: Happy Birthday to Our Manager Yuri! 🎂

Coincidentally, that day was March 10, which happens to be the birthday of our guesthouse manager, Yuri!

While exploring, we came across her birth flower and took a commemorative photo.

💐 Flower Meanings:

"Imagination"
"Everlasting Happiness"
"You Are My Comfort"
"Greed"

They suited her so well that we couldn't help but laugh!
