本日でルルルは、なんと創業18周年を迎えました！

2006年に家電家具付きの賃貸アパートからスタートしたルルル。

その後、高知で初めてのシェアハウスをスタートさせ、移住者や留学生を迎え、
さらに2016年には2号館が誕生し、世界中のゲストを迎えるゲストハウスへと進化してきました。

そしてこのたび、18周年を機に、新しい取り組みが始まります！

ラウンジに、小さなステージが完成しました！！！

毎日18時〜19時のスパイスカレー＆パンタイムに、ゲストとスタッフが自然に集まるラウンジ。
ここに新設されたのが、手作りの2メートル四方の小さな演奏ステージです。

なぜステージ？
もちろん、音楽を演奏するためです！

実はオーナーの私は大の音楽好き。
コロナ前までは6人編成のバンドで毎月ライブをしていましたし、
今もストリートで弾き語りをしたりと、音楽活動は続けています。

ルルル館内には、朝からビートルズが流れています。
今年はなんと、Youtube Musicから「世界で一番ビートルズをリクエストした人」に選ばれたほど！笑

そんな音楽好きの私が、このラウンジで
17時〜18時に、ビートルズや日本のポップスを生演奏します🎸
ゲストのチェックインを迎えながら、心地よい空間を作れたらと思っています。

「演奏してみたい！」「一緒に歌いたい！」というゲストがいれば、もちろん大歓迎！
一緒に音楽を楽しみましょう！

18〜19時は、今まで通り大人気のカレータイム。
旅の話や音楽の話で盛り上がりましょう。できれば17時までの到着がオススメです！

そして、「静かなルルルが好きだったのに…」という方へもご安心ください。
爆音ライブやエレキ全開の演奏は行いませんし、演奏時間は20時までに制限しています。
ルルルはあくまで、宿泊を楽しむゲストハウスです。音楽が心地よく溶け込む空間を目指します。

🎸ENGLISH VERSION

Hi! This is Taro, the owner of LuLuLu – Kochi’s first share house and guesthouse.

Today marks our 18th anniversary!

LuLuLu started in 2006 as a furnished rental apartment. Since then, we became Kochi’s first share house, welcoming newcomers and international students. In 2016, we launched our second building as a guesthouse, and now we host travelers from all over the world.

To celebrate our 18th anniversary, we’ve started something new...

A small live music stage has been added to the lounge!

Our lounge is the heart of LuLuLu, where guests and staff gather daily from 6–7pm for our beloved spice curry and freshly baked bread.

Now, from 5–6pm, I (Taro, the owner) will play live music – mostly Beatles and Japanese pop songs on the guitar – while welcoming guests during check-in.

Why music? Because I’m a huge music lover!

Before COVID, I played monthly gigs with my six-member band and still enjoy street performances from time to time. And yes – at LuLuLu, we play Beatles as background music every morning! I even received a special message from YouTube Music saying I was one of the top Beatles listeners in the world. True story!

Guests are more than welcome to join me on stage!
If you can sing or play an instrument, let’s perform together.

Curry time remains from 6–7pm as always.
If possible, we recommend arriving by 5pm to enjoy both music and dinner.

And for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere – don’t worry.
There won’t be any loud drum kits or amps.
All music will finish by 8pm, and LuLuLu remains a relaxing place to stay, not a live house.

We hope music lovers and even those who haven’t listened much recently will enjoy the new LuLuLu vibe.
