[English Version] A World-Traveling Italian Couple Stayed at LuLuLu!
Hello, this is Taro, the owner of Kochi’s first share house & guesthouse, LuLuLu!
Recently, a lovely Italian couple who have been living in Barcelona for nearly 20 years stayed at LuLuLu for three nights. They are currently traveling around Japan for two months, and after Kochi, they headed to Takamatsu by bus. Before coming to Japan, they spent two months in India and one month in Thailand, and their next destinations are New Zealand and Turkey!
A Bold Decision to Travel the World!
Both of them had been working for a long time but felt stuck in life. So, they made a bold decision to quit their jobs and travel the world. “It was the best decision ever! Every day is a new adventure,” they said with bright smiles.
Exploring Kochi by Bicycle!
During their stay, I guided them on a bicycle tour around Kochi! We visited Harimaya Bridge, Kochi Castle, the famous Ryoma Sakamoto statue, and the Three Patriots’ statues at Kochi Station. They were especially fascinated by Japanese writing, eagerly asking about the differences between hiragana, katakana, and kanji at Kochi Castle.
Later, we went to the "Paper Museum" in Ino Town, where they tried traditional Japanese papermaking. “This handmade paper will be a great souvenir!” they said happily.
