2月13日の高知新聞にこんな記事がありました！

オーテピア高知みらい科学館のプラネタリウムが、全国の99席以下の小規模プラネタリウム部門で6年連続日本一の実績を誇るという嬉しいニュースが掲載されていました！

42年ぶりの復活！

実は、オーテピアにプラネタリウムができるまで、高知は日本で唯一、常設のプラネタリウムがない県だったんです！「高知には星がいっぱいあるからプラネタリウムなんていらんろう！」なんて言われていたとかいないとか……。

しかし、2018年にオーテピアが誕生し、42年ぶりにプラネタリウムが復活！最先端の設備とともに、ついに高知の星空が室内でも楽しめるようになりました。

プラネタリウムの楽しみ方

オーテピア高知みらい科学館のプラネタリウムでは、

• 光学式プラネタリウムによるリアルな星空体験
• デジタル映像システムを使った迫力の全天周映像
• 季節ごとの星座や最新の天文情報を楽しめるオリジナル番組
• 専任解説員による生解説で学べる天文学

など、充実したプログラムを提供しています。

料金

• 大人：500円
• 高校生：300円
• 小・中学生：100円
• 未就学児：無料（保護者同伴）

• 土曜日・日曜日の13:15～
• 金曜日の17:45～
• 第4水曜日の12:30～

Great news! The Otepia Kochi Mirai Science Museum's planetarium has been ranked No.1 in Japan for six consecutive years in the small-scale planetarium category (under 99 seats)!

Planetarium Returns After 42 Years!

Believe it or not, until Otepia opened, Kochi was the only prefecture in Japan without a permanent planetarium! Some even joked, "Kochi has enough stars in the sky, we don’t need a planetarium!"

But in 2018, Otepia changed everything! After a 42-year absence, Kochi finally got a world-class planetarium with cutting-edge technology, bringing the beauty of the stars indoors.

Enjoying the Planetarium

At Otepia Kochi Mirai Science Museum, visitors can:

• Experience a realistic night sky with optical planetarium technology
• Enjoy immersive full-dome digital projection shows
• Learn about seasonal constellations and the latest astronomical discoveries
• Listen to expert live commentary from specialized guides

Admission Fees

• Adults: 500 yen
• High School Students: 300 yen
• Elementary & Middle School Students: 100 yen
• Preschoolers: Free (must be accompanied by an adult)

Showtimes:

• Saturdays & Sundays: 13:15～
• Fridays: 17:45～
• 4th Wednesday of the month: 12:30～

Duration: Approximately 15 minutes
Open to: Everyone
Admission: Free ("Free Ticket" required)

Experience 8 million stars in a short but breathtaking program. This program does not include a starry sky explanation.
