先日、イスラエルから来ていたヘルパーのジョーダンが、ルルルでの滞在を終えて旅立っていきました。
なんとルルルでは初めてのイスラエル出身のヘルパー！

日本語がとっても上手で、初日からスタッフやゲストと自然に会話。
「もっと日本の文化に触れたい」という思いで、東南アジアを5ヶ月旅したあとルルルにやってきたジョーダン。
ルルルのあとは京都へ向かうそうです〜

特に「犬夜叉」への愛が深く、漫画の話で盛り上がったのはいい思い出です（笑）

滞在中は、お掃除やゲストとの交流にも積極的に参加してくれて、本当に頼もしい存在でした！

明るくて優しいジョーダンは、いつもルルルに温かい空気を運んでくれて、

そして、ジョーダンが残してくれた感想がこちら：

「ルルルでの経験は本当に素晴らしかったです！
スタッフやボランティア、長期滞在の住人の方々と深い絆を築くことができました。
ゲストハウスはとても社交的な雰囲気で、毎日のように一緒に料理をしたり、食事をしたり。
月に一度は日本食を学べるイベントもあり、日本語の勉強にもなりました。
仕事内容もシンプルで、事前に聞いていた通り。
心からおすすめしたい場所で、まるで高知に新しい家族ができた気持ちです！」

別れはやっぱり寂しいけど、これからの旅もジョーダンらしく楽しんでね！
またいつか、高知で再会できるのを楽しみにしています！

Thank you, Jordan – Our Manga-Loving, Japanese-Speaking Helper Has Moved On!

Hello! This is Joe from LuLuLu, Kochi’s first share house and guesthouse.

Just recently, our helper Jordan from Israel finished her stay at LuLuLu and set off on the next part of her journey.
She was actually our very first helper from Israel!

From her first day, Jordan impressed everyone with her fluent Japanese and easy communication with staff and guests alike.
She came to LuLuLu after five months of traveling across Southeast Asia, with the goal of immersing herself even more deeply in Japanese culture.
Next stop: Kyoto!

One thing we’ll never forget is her deep love for Inuyasha!
She told us she had read it over and over since she was little, and she had great conversations with staff about manga.

During her stay, Jordan helped with cleaning and was very active in talking with guests and participating in events.
She brought a warm and cheerful spirit to LuLuLu, and many guests said, “I hope I get to see Jordan again someday!”

Before she left, Jordan shared this beautiful message with us:

“My experience at LuLuLu was truly amazing!
I was able to form deep connections with the staff, other volunteers, and long-term residents.
The guesthouse has a very social atmosphere—we cooked and shared meals almost every day.
There were also monthly events where I got to learn about Japanese food and practice the language.
The work was simple and exactly as explained beforehand.
I truly recommend LuLuLu. I feel like I found a new family in Kochi!”

We already miss her, but we’re sure her journey will be full of joy and connection—just like her time at LuLuLu.
